For more than a century, the Runzel family has concentrated on making cords, wires, and cables, originally for the Telephone Industry, and now expanding to include the Broadcast, Audio, and Visual Industries. An excerpt from the Runzel Telephone Cord Catalog circa 1945, exemplifies the current mission statement for Shattuc.

The philosophy is still the same today with Shattuc, even though the technology and the industry has changed and continues to change every day.
What qualifies Shattuc to serve the Broadcast, Audio, and Visual Industries? A combined 108 years of experience in these industries. This number would have been much higher, but our dear colleague, mentor, and friend, Larry Smith, Sr. passed away in April, 2014.
Currently, our Director of Engineering serves on the SMPTE Standards Committee and is a member of the National Systems Contractors Association. Customers work with us because we take our job (and their job) seriously. We provide Quality products and services, and WE WANT YOUR BUSINESS!

From our Cable Assembly Department to our newly expanded, state of the art Fiber Optic Laboratory, every day we are expanding our capabilities, which allows us to do more than we could the day before.
