Gator Cases was founded by a father-daughter team in Tampa, Florida in 2000. What started as a small offering of plastic molded guitar cases originally offered at NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants) in Nashville, TN, their product lines have been greatly expanded to include over 1,000 different solutions constructed from high-quality plastics, wood, sewn, and EVA materials.

Since 2000, Gator Cases has seen fantastic growth in multiple areas. They have a complete OEM division that works with companies around the world to manufacture custom cases for Original Equipment Manufacturers. Gator Cases has continually invested in US-based manufacturing, acquiring their first company, Protechtor Cases, in 2008. Later expansions and acquisitions include a new 180,000 manufacturing and distribution facility in Indiana in 2013, Viking Cases, a US-based ATA rated flight case manufacturer in 2015, and Levy’s Leathers LTD, a guitar strap manufacturer, in 2018.

Gator’s line of band cases and bags include Pro-Go gig bags for alto and tenor sax and trumpet, manufactured with padded handles, rugged zippers, and plush interior to protect your instrument. Their GC band line features ABD hardshell cases for a wide variety of saxophones, trombone and trumpet, violin, wind instruments, and more. Their GL lightweight line features a wide variety of lightweight cases with rugged handles, accessory storage, a shoulder strap, and a lined interior for various woodwind and brass instruments.

The DJ line of equipment features road cases with laptop platforms custom fit for Roland, Numark, and Pioneer controllers, as well as lightweight, semi-rigid cases and bags for other DJ gear, including microphones, headphones, and more.

Guitar cases, keyboard cases, and amplifier cases are all offered, with hard sided, soft sided, and TSA accepted cases being offered for all three configurations. On top of cases, guitar rack stands, pedal totes, and other equipment accessories are available, all manufactured with the highest-quality components.

On the accessory side of things, Gator Cases has you covered with bags, totes, and cases for lighting, microphones, speakers, and more. Microphone cases come with custom inserts, based on what brand microphones a customer owns and how many they are looking to carry. Special inserts are offered for Shure and Sennheiser systems. Gator debuted their Frameworks line of stands and supports in 2013. The Frameworks line comprises over 50 unique solutions for AV, keyboard, guitar, speaker, microphone, and more. Frameworks products include guitar stands and hangers, microphone stands and accessories, keyboard stands, lighting stands, ID series stands, speaker stands, music stands and accessories, and video and projector stands. The Frameworks line of products has gone on to win multiple awards including Best in Show at Summer NAMM 2013 and Winter NAMM 2015.
