Kings
Description
The Kings name has been a staple in the broadcast industry since its formation in 1947. In 2007, the Kings brand was acquired by Winchester Interconnect, a US-based manufacturer that designs, develops, and manufactures interconnect solutions for a variety of industries.
In addition to the broadcast and professional AV industry, Winchester Interconnect serves the Data Infrastructure, Oil and Gas, Medical, Military/Aerospace, Rail Mass Transit, Semiconductor, Test & Measurement, and Industrial Automation industries. Their connector, cable assembly, custom Hermetic seals and Hermetic enclosures, and hand tools are industry leading.
The Kings brand can now be found under Kings-Win, where they manufacture some of the most recognized broadcast connectors in the business. Their product lines span from miniaturization and multi-position interconnect solutions to broadcast. They even offer military style solutions (including Qualified Product Listing products) which also qualifies them as a manufacturer for the aerospace, commercial air, and telecommunications markets.
Kings-Win product lines includes 75 Ohm BNC, Tri-Loc® triax, DIN 1.0/2.3, and Video Patching for Broadcast, as well as SMA, BNC, TNC, N, C, SC, TRB, and TRT connectors for triaxial cables for multiple markets. The BNC connectors are the most popular and widely used broadcast connectors for coaxial cables. The 2065 Series True 75 Ohm BNC connectors from Kings are the perfect choice for Broadcast applications. These connectors meet stringent industry HDTV standards. Kings 75 Ohm BNCs are designed as crimp-on field installable connectors. They are designed to fit perfectly on all industry standard cable solutions. As with all broadcast quality BNC connectors, Kings 75 Ohm BNC connectors feature a bayonet style coupling mechanism for quick connect and disconnect operation.
Video jacks manufactured by Kings-Win come in both mid-size and full-size configurations. Both configurations have a 75 Ohm nominal impedance, suitable for analog, serial digital, and HDTV applications. Both configurations also made with standard BNC plugs as well as mid-size patch plugs. Finally, both versions meet SMPTE 424M (3G-SDI) and HDTV standards and have frequency ranges up to 3.5 GHz. Both types of jacks are tested to over 30,000 cycles at a minimum, meaning you can rely on Kings-Win connectors to perform well into the future.
Kings-Win has also leveraged their vast experience in making connectors and jacks to manufacturing populated video and audio patchpanels. Their patchpanels come in terminated, un-terminated, and feed-through styles. These panels are manufactured with up to 28 circuits of standard size jacks, and up to 32 circuits of mid-size jacks, all designed to fit in a 1RU, 1.5RU, or 2RU configuration.
Kings-Win Tri-Loc® triax connectors are nickel coated connectors that feature weatherproof construction, making them ideal for outdoor use. Featuring easy, two-crimp installation on both their plugs and their jacks, these connectors are easy to terminate in the field. Retrofit kits are available to replace damaged or non-functioning internal parts of the connector. Tri-Loc® connectors are tested to the extreme - certified for over 30,000 cycles minimum.
All connectors offered by Kings-Win are designed to pair perfectly with cable manufactured and/or distributed by Shattuc. Contact your Shattuc representative today for more information.
