KORUS connectors are the latest edition to COAX’s 75-ohm product line, and far exceed the standards required by SMPTE for 12G-SDI. 23AWG sub-miniature coax, RG59, RG6, and RG11 cable types are all supported by the KORUS line of connectors.

3G BNC, 12G BNC, 12G Micro BNC (HDBNC) and 12G DIN 1.0/2.3 connector types are all available. Straight crimp plugs, straight jacks, right angle plugs, bulkhead jacks, PCB end launch jacks, and adapters are available in both black and gold and nickel finishes. All these products all exceed SMPTE standards for 12G-SDI.

In 2019, COAX Connectors won the NAB association’s “NAB Show Product of the Year Award” with their microMUSA patchbay system. The 12G, 48-way patchbay system includes panels, U-links, and patchcords that deliver 4k performance exceeding SMPTE ST2082-1. This system delivers a much higher density of 12G connectors in a 1RU panel than any other system on the market. The 48 12G connectors on the back of the panel not only saves space, the reduction in overall weight is a huge benefit to OB trucks and other vehicles where weight is at a premium.

In addition to RF connectors, COAX Connectors designs and manufactures a wide variety of video patchbays, tooling, accessories, and more. The microMUSA patchbay is available in both 32-Way and 48-Way configurations. They also have a comprehensive line of extractor tools, crimp tools, alignment tools, and cable stripping tools to compliment their connector products. Hardware and protective caps are also available on an as-needed basis.
